Our member Gopal Gowda has taken on the role of publisher for The Mallet, Croquet Canada’s national newsletter. The first issue (May 2026) has now been released and distributed to all Croquet Canada members and players across the country.

Victoria will host its first Western Canada Open Golf Croquet Championship from August 21–24, 2026, with matches spread across VBCC, CPLBC, and Oak Bay. This is a major milestone for our region and a welcome boost to competitive GC in the Pacific Northwest.

Jim and Cathy Crawford love introducing croquet to new players, which is exactly what they did recently at the club. As you can see, everyone had a great time. Croquet is a great game, it's easy to learn and fun to play.
