Wilkerson Men's Pairs tournament is scheduled for June 8,9,10 at VBCC. This iconic tournament only has a few spots left and will feature a who's who of south island pairs teams including last years winners Bawan Saravanbawan (Lead), Nick May (Skip)- . Register today to avoid disappointment.

Keith Newhouse is once again heading up the scotch pairs men's league. Scotch pairs ensures everyone gets a chance to skip for half the game. It's a great way for novice bowlers to try their hand calling the shots with the help of an experienced skip alongside. It is not a requirement that you attend every week however you get a point for just showing up! All skill levels wlecome. The league costs $20 and runs until August 31. Tags in by 9:45am. NOTE, no league game May 18.

We will be bowling at 10:30 am, name tags in by 10:15 am please. We each put in a toonie each week to play. This money goes towards prize money at the end of the season for the top 3 bowlers, along with a pizza lunch. Practice your bowling skills in a relaxed, friendly, social atmosphere.

Joey, Susan and Geoff represented VBCC at last weekends Presidents Cup Executive Mixed Triples at Oak Bay LBC. The weather was picture perfect, the team rocked the new club uniforms and the competition was stellar, alas it was not meant to be this year but what a great way to get the season underway! Congrats to Oak Bay for putting on a great tournament.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of long-time member Pierre Pomerleau on April 9 following a short battle with cancer. Pierre was a regular on the greens playing both bowls and croquet where it was hard to miss his signature hat and his competitive spirit. Our heartfelt condolences go out to Pomerleau family from all of us at VBCC.
